The MVA requires completion of 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) practice with one of our instructors, using certified school vehicles.
A Guide to Driving in Maryland welcomes out-of-country driver license applicants to Maryland at the same time it educates them regarding safe driving behaviors in the state. Course participants are educated in the effects of drugs and alcohol in combination with operating a motor vehicle as was contained in the former Safe and Sober curriculum.
Choose to be Safe. Every Trip. Every Time. The Driver Improvement Program is mandated for all drivers who have received 5 or more points on their licenses, any provisional driver who has received a moving violation, and any driver who is court ordered to complete the class
If a student does not own a car or their vehicle does not meet MVA requirements, we offer the option to rent one of our certified cars for practice and testing.
